Kids' Art at ArtSpace

Children's Art Sessions.

We have Group Sessions every week. Feel free to contact us to arrange a time for your child - either in a group or one to one. We're all qualified teachers, we're expert at teaching art, so whether you live in York or you're just visiting: drop your child/teenager off, and treat yourself to some private chill out time in the city with a glass of wine, a coffee, or a bit of shopping.

Group sessions are every week at the same time (see above), but a lot of the time they're also arranged a few days in adavnce, so keep us in mind, and contact us if ever you want to see your child taught top quality art skills while you enjoy York.

ART CAMP

Every day of a week of your choice in the school holidays we teach the young artists as many arty tricks as possible: painting, drawing, still life, brusho ink, graphite, Manga art. The work culminates in a group show: we've just had the Lord High Mayor of York and the Sheriff of York in to open the Chilldren's Exhibition. the place was packed, everyone dressed to kill, sipping apple juice. Excellent exhibition experience for the young 'uns: noone else is doing, so ArtSpace will!

ARTY PARTIES

You can decide whatever arty activity you want to do - from painting canvases, to illustrations, to painting keepsake boxes/ door hangers/ T-Shirts...pop in sometime and have a look through our catalogue. An activity costs £50 for the hour.
We're all qualified art teachers so the children will be fully supervised. We'll also take photos so you've got souvenirs of what'll prove to be an exciting slice of art crackle.
As for food, you can either bring a picnic and a cake and we'll have a little party here or you can go to Pizza Hut or Dickinsons a few doors away, both places will offer a small discount if you give them notice. If you have a picnic here it'll cost an extra £25 for the half hour.
Your child can bring whatever music they like and we'll put it on our player.
